Magical Green Shoes

My sister works in the children's shoe department at Nordstrom and bought these for Miette a while ago. You can't quite tell in these pictures, but they are about twice the size of her feet so she won't really be able to wear them for another year or so. When we were in Seattle, I discovered Miette grasping for them - just beyond her reach on the dresser - during more than one nap-time. We let her play with them for a while but told her she couldn't bring them home just yet...
