That's not what I mean at all.
After watching a movie depicting the development of the first atomic weapons in the 1940s for Jesse to use in his student teaching:
Me: "Man, that was just so interesting! I really like learning about all this true life stuff that really happened in the past."
Jesse: "You mean you're starting to become interested in history?"
Me: "Uhh... No. I just like true life stories...from the past."
